Top tips for storage

Never put damp or wet items into your container. It could cause condensation and potentially damage your belongings.

If you want to store white goods such as dishwashers, washing machines and fridges, they must be completely drained of liquids before placing into storage.

Leave fridge and freezer doors open.

Visit the container regularly to inspect your items.

Store small items, in good quality cardboard boxes. It's always best to fill the boxes as they are less likely to collapse, especially if stacked on top of one another.

Place heavy or bulky items at the back of the storage unit. This provides a good base on which to stack other items.

Label your boxes and make a list of everything you keep in your container.

Consider covering items such as furniture with dust sheets or plastic sheeting.
